ALEXANDER BLACK

Alexander Black, who had been for some time a patient at the Iowa Sanitarium, passed away yesterday morning. He had been in the employ of the Milwaukee railroad for quite a number of years. About a year ago his health failed and he was compelled to give up his position and seek medical attention.

Mr. Black was a native of Indiana, Howard county being his birthplace, where he was born January 7, 1860, his age a death being sixty-one years. The only surviving relatives are a brother, W. M. Black, and a nephew. Burial services were conducted at the Nevada cemetery this morning by Rev. R. M. Shipman.
