Robert Killen, whose very serious illness with consumption was recently noted in these column, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. He was born in Nevada about 23 years ago and, though he moved away while yet a small boy, is well remembered by many friends here. Until compelled by failing health to give up work he was clerk in Harris-Emery's department store, Des Moines, and was highly esteemed by all associates. His remains were accompanied to Nevada Thursday by his brother Wallace and wife of Des Moines, and his sister came also from Nebraska. He was buried beside his mother in the Nevada cemetery.
