Death of Mrs. Rosetta Baker
Mrs. Rosetta Baker, wife of George W. Baker, died Sunday at the home in this city of her son Will Baker, in the 74th year of her age. She was a native of New York state but accompanied her parents in childhood to Wisconsin where she was reared and married. She and her husband were themselves pioneers in Minnesota and South Dakota, and for the past six years they had been in California. They came here only about a week ago, with Mrs. Baker very ill from a complication of diseases and practically coming to the home of her son to die. She leaves her husband, five sons, one daughter and numerous grandchildren. She was a member of the Adventist denomination, and her funeral is in charge of her religious co-workers.
