John "Scotty" Milne died at the county home the last of the week and was interred in the cemetery on the farm. He had been a resident of Ames, where he conducted a truck garden for a number of years. Following an operation for cancer of the abdomen he was taken to the county home where he had been cared for. He was a native of Scotland and had no relatives here.
