Rites Tuesday in Nevada for Mrs. Stromberg

Mrs. Lillian M. Stromberg, 1115 J Ave., Nevada, died Saturday afternoon at Mary Greeley Hospital at the age of 58.

Mrs. Stromberg had been ill with cancer the past several months and had been hospitalized the past four days.

Born December 28, 1910 at Harlan, Iowa, she was the daughter of Jens and Kathryn Jensen. She was a professional beauty operator and had lived in Nevada for 35 years.

She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the VFW Auciliary.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Jensen of Lancaster, Calif. and Carl Stromberg of Nevada; a daughter Mrs. Frances Agena of Independence, Ore., 10 grandchildren, one brother, Marvin Jensen of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Zitzman of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Arlene Beckley of Downey, Calif., and Mrs. Hazel Taylor of Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one daughter, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be at the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
