Maxwell Farmer Committed Suicide In Polk County Jail

Special to the Journal.
Maxwell, Oct. 9--E. A. Stebbins, 55, farmer of south of Maxwell, suicided early today by hanging in the Polk county jail, where he had been confined since last Thursday on a statutory charge.

Mrs. Stebbins died about 9 years ago and he leaves ten children.

Funeral arrangements have not been definitely arranged at this time, according to members of the family.
