DIED AT OAKDALE

Story City Woman Passed Away at Sanitarium.

Story City, Feb. 13--Mrs. Bertha Smith, who has been seriously ill since last fall died a the state tuberculosis sanitarium at Oakdale last Friday. She had been at that institution about ten days. The doctors there held out no hope for her recovery as she was too far gone from the dread disease which had fastened its clutches upon her Funeral services were conducted Wednesday in the Grace church of which she was a member. Mrs. Smith was born in South Dakota 62 years years ago, and was on of the pioneer settlers of this community.
