Man Who Died in Dakota Brought Home for Interment

Story City, April 2--Mrs. S. R. Corneliussen received the sad news Wednesday of the sudden death of her son-in-law Dr. J. E. Schwendener, 50, of Bryant, S. D. Dr. Schwendener, died at his home at Bryant Wednesday afternoon. The message did no state the cause of death. He had been in good health up until the time of his death. He was a well known doctor at Bryant, where he had practiced his profession for several years. He married Mamie Corneliussen of this place a few years ago and they have since made their home in South Dakota. He leaves besides his wife, one daughter, Dorothy. The body was brought to Story City for funeral services and interment. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in the Grace Evangelical church.
