Wm. B. Miller Laid to Rest In Nevada Cem.

Funeral services for William B. Miller were held from the Ryan Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 p. m., with the Rev. C. E. Lookingbill officiating.

Organ music was played at the opening and closing of the service.

The casket bearers were Jess Anderson, Phil Dorsey, Wayne Miller, Jack Newman, Dale Sills and Ray Tendall.

Buria was in the Nevada cemetery.

Obituary

William Boyd Miller, son of Ezra and Eliza Miller, was born on the family farm northwest of Woodward, Iowa, October 6, 1882, and passed away at his home in Nevada, July 18, 1954, at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 11 days. He grew to manhood at Woodward. On January 20, 1915, he was married to Nora Christopher of Cambridge, at Des Moines. To this unions two daughters were born.

In May 1927 the family moved to Nevada where they have resided ever since. Mr. Miller had been in poor health for a number of years.

Besides the widow, he leaves to mourn his death two daughters, Lavon (Mrs. Floyd Mitchell of Rockford, Ill.) and Jeanne (Mrs. Norval Smith of Iowa Falls, Ia.); three grandchildren; two brothers Clyde of Perry and Reuben of Kansas City, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Grimm of Glidden, Mrs. Nellie Pomeroy of Woodward; Mrs. Minnie Harlow of Nevada and Mrs. Mary McTaggert of Colorado; also many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
