DEATHS

MISS OLLIE LEWISON

Funeral services for Miss Ollie Lewison were held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3. The Rev. Olaf Holen of Ames officiated.

Mrs. Harold Olson, organist, accompanied Mrs. Clara Anderson and Theodore Quam as they sang "Nearer My God to Thee" and "Alone."

Pallbearers were Theodore Lewison, Forest City, Paul Lewison, Anamosa, Robert Peterson, Charles City, and Donald Bygness, Harvey Anderson and Arnold Erickson, all of Ames.

Burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Ollie Matilde Lewison, daughter of Ole and Malinde Lewison, was born in Story City on Oct. 21, 1898, and died at Mary Greeley Hospital, Ames, on July 31.

She had resided in New Hampton for 23 years where she lived with her brother, Theodore Lewison.

In May of this year, she returned to Story City to make her home with Mrs. Freda Olson.

Preceding her in death were her parents, three brothers, Bert, Howard and Theodore, and two sisters, Julia and Anna.

She is survived by two step-sisters and four step-brothers, also eight nieces and nephews.

Prayer services were held Monday evening, Aug 1, at 8 p.m. at Conway Funeral Home, New Hampton.
