Mrs. Larson died Tuesday at her home on east Broad street. She was 84 years old and had made her home in this community almost all her life, having moved here from Illinois in 1850. She and her husband formerly owned the farm which is now part of the town of Story City. She had been in fairly good health until about four weeks ago when she suffered a stroke of paralysis. She was taken to the Story City hospital for treatment. She seemed to be recovering so she was taken home two weeks ago but was taken worse and for the past week she was very low.
