Larson Rites Wed. In Story City

Mrs. John (Mary) Larson, 85, died Sunday evening at 10:45 in the Story City Memorial Hospital of a heart ailment. She had been a patient in the hospital during the past six weeks.

She was born in Denmark and came to the United States at the age of eight with her parents. After her marriage to John Larson they lived in Ringstead for two years and moved to Randall where they farmed until 1927 when Mr. Larson retired and the couple moved to their home in Story City.

John Larson preceded his wife in death in March of 1953.

The only survivors are distant relatives in Denmark.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 2 p. m. in the Bethel Lutheran Church in Story City. Rev. A. J. Bringle an Rev. C. L. Fuller will officiate. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery. The Larson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
