MRS. JENS JOHNSON DEAD

Passed Away at Story City Wednesday Morning.

Special to the Journal.
Story City, Dec. 31--Mrs. Jens Johnson of this place died Wednesday morning. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the St. Petri church. She leaves to mourn her death, three daughters and three sons, namely J. C. Johnson, C. F. Johnson, P. T. Johnson of this place, Mrs. Danielson of Chicago, Mrs. Strong of Des Moines and Mrs. Corneliussen of this place.

SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. Johnson's stone is inscribed "Karen Jensen" although all her children are named Johnson. Her son, John Christian Johnson gives his mother's maiden name as "Karen Jensen" while her other children list their mother mother's maiden name on their marriage records as "Carrie Johnson."
