Mrs. Veldon Haynes Dies In Hospital Here This Morning After Short Illness
Mrs. Veldon L. Haynes, 1424 Third St., Nevada, died at 6:55 a.m. today in the Story County Hospital where she had been a patient the past two days.
Mrs. Haynes, 45 years of age, had been ill for the past two weeks.
Born September 16, 1918 in Parker, S. D., she was the daughter of Henry E. and Caroline Robinson.
A resident of Nevada since 1958, she was an employee of the Reuben H. Donnelley Corporation. She was married to Vern Haynes in 1936 in Selah, Wash.
She was past president of the Carpenters Auxiliary Academy of Friendship, Women of the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her husband; her mother Caroline Robinson Cram of Selah, Wash; two sons, LaVerne Eugene of Nevada and Veldon Duane of Sheldahl; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Trisler of Nevada; five grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Robinson of Kennewich, Wash. and Henry Lynn Robinson of Yakima, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. J. E. Foster of Selah, Wash.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Ryan Funeral Home.
