Obituary

Minnie May Miller was born June 19 1883 in Illinois. She moved to St. John, Kansas with her parents early in childhood. Early in life she united with the Church of the Brethren and remained a faithful and diligent member until in marriage to Lee Dadisman December 28, 1902. To this union were born six boys and four girls, one boy and one girl having died in infancy. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Ruth, who passed away six years ago at the age of 35 as she was completing her nurses training.

She is survived by her husband, five sons, two daughters and thirteen grandchildren. The sons are Lloyd of near Nevada; Glenn of Manly, Iowa; Elmer, who is pastor of the church of the Brethren at Navarre, Kansas; Earl, of Reading, Minnesota; and Claude who is a student minister at Bethany Biblical Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. The daughters are Mary Dadisman, R. N. who is serving her second term on the mission field for the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, Africa and Mrs. Vance Harris of Mountain Grove, Mo.

Mrs. Dadisman was always deeply concerned about things spiritual for herself and her family. The last thing she talked about with her husband before her passing was concerning the welfare of the church here.

She and her husband established their first home at Newberg, Oregon where they moved soon after their marriage. The resided there about eight years before moving to Kennedy, Texas where they lived for ten years. From there they moved to Uniontown, Kansas where they lived nine years. From there they moved to a farm near Fernald in 1930 and have resided in that community ever since.

The deceased was apparently in unusually good health until a restless night she was stricken with a heart attack in the doctor's office in McCallsburg early in the morning of August 25. She was rushed to the hospital in Eldora where she suffered recurring attacks until the time of passing at 6:45 p. m. September 11.
