Aged Man Dead

Ole C. Lund, 88, pioneer of the Story City neighborhood, died Sunday at his home in Story City, from complications incident to old age.

The funeral services will be held Wednesday with brief services at the home at 1:30 and the funeral at Immanuel church at 1:00, with Rev. Heimarck in charge. Interment will be in the Fairview cemetery, Story City.

Mr. Lund was a native of Norway and came to America in 1868, locating near this place. He was united in marriage too Miss Sarah Knudson, September 20 1879. They lived on a farm near here until 12 years ago when they retired and moved into town.

He leaves his wife, four daughters and two sons. The children are Mrs. Ben Dyvig of near Stanhope, Mrs. Hans Torkelson and Theodore Lund of near Story City, Ole Lund of near Jewell, Mrs. Ira Christianson of Des Moines and Mrs. Carl Olson of Los Angeles, California.
