STORY CITY.

Miss Katie Dickinson died at the Geist & Schwartz hospital at this place last Friday evening of appendicitis. She had been sick for some time and an operation was performed Friday morning but she was too weak to withstand the shock and died in a few hours. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Monday afternoon in the Evangelical church, conducted by Rev. Lang. The scholars from the two higher grades in our public schools were present in a body and covered the casket with beautiful flowers. Miss Katie was the 15-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Dickinson.
