Death Friday Afternoon Of Henry Hovland, 87, Story City Resident

STORY CITY -- Henry Hovland, 87, died suddenly Friday afternoon at the Sunset Home where he had lived since September. Born in Norway, he cam to America about 70 years ago and settled in Story City.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at two o'clock in the Immanuel Lutheran church with Rev. T. J. Alvesta officiating. Burial will be in Story City cemetery.

He is survived by three sons, Orville and Alvin of Webster City and Harvey of Roland, two daughters, Mrs. J. N. Brattebo and Mrs. G. A. Brattebo, both of Story City, two sisters, Mrs. Malinda Sunnes of Story City and Miss Christine Hovland of Norway, Europe, sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife who passed away January of this year.
