Former Story City Man Passed Away
Story City, Aug. 13--Theodore P. Hermanson, 65, a former resident of this place, died at his home in Tyler, Minnesota, Wednesday night. He had lived there for thirty years, after removing from Story City, and had for some time been in failing health.
He was born in Denmark and came to Story City when a baby, with his parent. He grew to manhood on the old Hermanson farm south of Story City.
Since his marriage to Miss Bessie Townswick he had lived in Roland, where he was engaged in the drug business and later at Ruthton, Minn., and then at Tyler, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Joe Vadheim, of Tyler, Minnesota and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Severt Duea of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and one son, Dr. Peter Hermanson of Hendricks, Minnesota. Two brothers and two sisters also survive. They are Walter and Nels Hermanson of Story City and Mrs. Hannah Espe of Bode and Mrs. L. C. Townswick of Story City.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock with a short service at the Townswick home followed by services at the Bethel Lutheran church. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Story City.
