DEATHS

Funeral services for Ole J. Hanson was held in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Story City at 2 p.m. Friday, July 28 with pastor T. J. Alvestad officiating and burial was in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Benjamin Anderson and Ted Quam sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond The Sunset". Miss Louise Olson was organist. Pall bearers were Edward Anderson, Herbert Egenes, L. B. Brattebo, T. M. Holm, Magne Idse and Ole Vallen.

Ole J. Hanson son of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Hanson was born in Clinton County, Iowa on August 28, 187. The family moved to Story County about the year 1881 to a farm five miles southwest of Story City, and later they moved to town. Hanson was a photographer for more than 50 years, he and his brother H. O. Hanson having owned and operated the Hanson Photo shop in Story City.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers and two sisters - Hans O. Hanson and Martin Hanson, Mrs. Albert (Christine) Johnson and a sister, who died in infancy.

Five brothers survive - Albert, Augustine, Cornelius and Clarence, all of Story City and Sam J. Hanson of Albert Lea, Minn.; also nieces and nephews.
