EDWIN A. JONES, 21, VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA AT HOME OF MOTHER

Special to the Journal
Collins, Feb. 29--Edwin A. Jones, 21, one of the best known and highly respected young men of this community died at the home of his mother Mrs. Rhoda Jones, here, Saturday evening at 9:30, from pneumonia.

Mr. Jones had been taken to the home of his mother on Wednesday from his own home where he had been taken ill a few days before.

Edwin Jones was born in Collins November 30, 1911, and grew to manhood there. He graduated from the Collins school with the class of 1928.

For the past two years he had been employed in the mercantile business of P. J. Wetrich.

He was married June 4, 1931 to Miss Wanda Miller of Zearing and their home had been in Collins.

He leaves besides his wife and mother, his father E. E. Jones, a sister Mrs. Velma Patterson of near Baxter, half-brothers, Clarence Jones of Merced, Calif., and Cecil Jones of San Jose, Calif., his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Jones and Mrs. Anne Thompson, all of Collins.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2"00 at the Church of Christ, after which interment will be in the Collins cemetery.
It is probable that the services will be conducted by Rev. Ed Clarke of Sigourney, a former pastor here.
