Last Rites Here For R. A. Frederick Tuesday Afternoon
Funeral services for Robert A. Frederick, 717 Fourth street, Des Moines, whose death occurred Saturday, June 28 in the Veteran's Hospital in Des Moines were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada.
The Rev. Robert Spencer of the Nevada Central Presbyterian church officiated at the last rites. Mrs. Norman C. Dobson was at the organ playing a number of hymns at the opening and closing of the service.
Casket bearers were members of the Elks Lodge of which the deceased had been a member, Bill Wiley, Cleve McConkey, Clyde Hunter, J. O. Rosencrans, Albert Wieland and Robert Weichman, all of Des Moines.
Burial was in the Nevada cemetery by the side of his wife Marguerite Statler Fredericks, whose death occurred in 1934.
Obituary
Robert A. Frederick was born at Conrad, Iowa May 8, 1891, a son of George and Selinda Frederick.
He was married in 1922 to Marguerite Statler Bebb in Clear Lake, Iowa.
The deceased was a member of the Elks Lodge and the American Legion. He had been a resident of Des Moines since 1930 and at the time of his death, after a three months' illness, he was a retired city inspector.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. E. F. Thorman of Conrad, one niece, Mrs. R. H. Geise of Conrad and one step-daughter, Miss Jane Bebb of Mishawaka, Ind.

Among those here for the funeral service were Miss Jane Bebb, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Burns and Miss Mildred harden of Mishawaka, Ind.
From Conrad were Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Thorman, Mrs. E. F. Geise, C. M. Belknap, Mrs. Mayme Frederick, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Frederick, Mr.a nd Mrs. J. L. Morrison, Mort Evans, C. M. Evans, Mrs. J. F. Alexander and Mrs. R. T. Spain, and possibly others.
From Des Moines were Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Rosencranx, Francis Burke, J. A. Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve McConkey, J. I. Petty, Ed Beers, Ed. Fitzgerald, Harold Johnson, Pete Cassady, J. G. Brownsman, John Hausman, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Watson, Francis Mortzet and others.
Mrs. Hugo Helcher of Hubbard and Mrs. Alfred Oesterreicher of Titonka.
