Funeral Services For Olive English Held Wednesday

Funeral services for Miss Olive English, 73, longtime resident of Nevada where she was prominent in church, musical and social circles, were held at Central Presbyterian church in Nevada with Rev. James D. Ransom officiating.

Beautiful flowers banked the bier mutely testifying to the affection in which she was held by relatives and friends.

Mrs. J. R. Dillin was at the organ playing "Largo from Dvorak's New World Symphony" and "Meditation." It was fitting that the organ at which she presided was the one Miss English had played for a number of years in Central Presbyterian Church.

The casket bearers were F. M. Boardman, Chas. F. Wilson, F. C. Tarman, E. P. Schindler, Gilbert Henry and M. I. Lattig.

Committal was in the family lot in the Nevada cemetery by the side of her parents, long time prominent residents of Nevada.

Accompanying the body to Nevada from Highland Park, Ill., were her cousin, Miss Frances English, Robert Warner in whose home she had lived for seven years, and Mrs. Louise Allen Richardson; former resident of Nevada and her intimate friend.

The death of Miss English in the Highland Park hospital, followed a brief illness the immediate cause of her death being a heart attack.
