Maxwell Young Man Died at Hospital
Maxwell, Sept. 14--Lloyd Veneman, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Veneman who had been a patient at the University hospital in Iowa City for few weeks where his case was diagnosed as water diabetes, died Thursday afternoon and his body was brought home the same evening. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church in charge of the pastor, Rev. W. S. Kight. Dale John, a member of the Phillips Community Club sang "Some Day". The pall bearers were James Dunahoo, Ronald Coughenour, Archie Ray, Forest Carr, James Beal and Ralph Moses.
Besides the father and mother he leaves 2 sisters, Mrs. Leslie Coughenour of near Maxwell and Harriet, who lives at home. Burial was in the Maxwell cemetery.
