DIED.

In Nevada, Sept. 7th, 1866, Mrs. ELIZABETH STEVENS, aged 67 years, 3 months and 6 days.

"Sweetly sleep gentle mother, thy labors are done,
Earth's conflicts are ended and victory won;
How soon hast thou left us, how transient they stay,
But thou could'st not linger on life's barren way.

Farewall, out heart's treasure, we bid thee adieu,
Until time has borne us life's journey quite through;
Thou wert bound for the skies far above the blue dome,
Then why should'st thou linger away from thy home?"
