Died.

We regret to learn of the death of the wife of Hon. GEORGE M. MAXWELL of Indian Creek on Friday of last week from cancer. The deceased has suffered terribly fro the desease [sic] which has finally called her from earth. We extend to our friend sincere sympathy in this his hour affliction.

Also, on Tuesday of this week, ELIZA, wife of OTIS BRIGGS, of Nevada. The deceased leaves five small children to mourn the loss of a mother's care, the youngest an infant but a few days old.
