ARRASMITH FUNERAL THIS AFTERNOON
INTERMENT AT PLEASANT GROVE CEMETERY, SERVICES AT AMES
Funeral services for E. G. Arrasmith, 58, who died at his home northeast of Ames Monday afternoon, were held today at 2 o'clock, at the Adams funeral home, Ames, after which interment was in the cemetery at Pleasant Grove.
Mr. Arrasmith died of creeping paralysis from which he had been a sufferer for ten months.
He was a native of Story county, having lived here all of his life with the exception of a few years spent on a farm near Stanhope.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Arrasmith, Story county pioneers and at the time of his death was living upon what is known as the James Carpenter farm.
He leaves besides his wife, three children, they being Alva of Webster City and Lillie and Ruth at home. He also leaves three brothers, Charles of Boone and Will and George of near McCallsburg.
Mr. Arrasmith was a member of the I. O. O. F. and Modern Woodmen lodges and was well and most favorably known in the community in which he had lived for so many years.
