Special to the Journal.
Cambridge, Oct. 4--Cambridge Friends have received word that Harry Maxwell of Rocky Ford, Colorado had taken his own life by shooting himself through the mouth with a revolver at his apartments, Sept.22. Mr. Maxwell was reared to young manhood in Cambridge where he worked in general store with his father, George Maxwell. The store was on the site where the Lewis Garage now stands. The home is the residence property of the late Thomas Jarville. Mr. Maxwell now near 70 years of age has been in poor health the past 15 years which is thought to have contributed largely, to the rash act. He had been in the clothing business in Rocky Ford and had amassed considerable property there but a year ago had moved to Orange, Calif. He leaves a wife and two daughters.
