D. L. RIERSON IS DEAD AT RADCLIFFE

WAS SON OF PIONEER MILFORD TOWNSHIP FAMILY--WAS KNOWN HERE

Dan L. Rierson died at his home in Radcliffe early today, according to word received by relatives in Nevada.

Mr. Rierson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Rierson, pioneers of Milford township five miles northwest of Nevada.

The deceased was wellknown in Story county, when a young man, but of later years had lived in the Radcliffe neighborhood.

The funeral services will be held Monday. There will be a brief service at the home at 1:00, after which the body will be taken to Bethany Lutheran church four miles south of his home, where the funeral will be held.

Mr. Rierson who had been ill and a sufferer from heart trouble for some time, had been bedfast for about two weeks.

His wife died a number of years ago, but he leaves three daughters and one son, they being Mrs. Mae Reed, Mrs. Ella Reed and Miss Severie Rierson all of the Radcliffe community.

He also leaves his sisters Misses Ena and Anna Rierson, who have assisted in caring for him during his declining days, brothers, L. C. Rierson of 707 Eighth street, Nevada and Richard Rierson of Kandiyohi, Minn., and a sister Mrs. George Folgero of Des Moines.
