NORTH GRANT LADY DIED SUDDENLY

MRS. ROY RIGGS PASSED AWAY TUESDAY EVENING; FUNERAL THURSDAY

Mrs. Roy Rigg, age about 45 years, died at Mary Greeley hospital, Ames, Tuesday evening about 6:15. She had been at the hospital for about a week, having been taken there from her home just west of North Grant school, on west Lincoln way.

The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:30 at the Adams funeral home in Ames, after which interment will be in the Ames cemetery.

Mrs. Riggs, whose maiden name was Alice Lee, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lee, of near Cambridge, had lived in the vicinity of Ames since her marriage.

She leaves a son Lee Riggs, who is about 17 years of age, and a daughter Virginia, about 15 years, besides her husband and other relatives.

Mrs. Riggs was well and most favorably known in the community in which she had lived for years and her death, coming suddenly as it did, was a great shock to the family, as well as neighbors and friends.
