Miss Charleson Died Near Roland Today

Roland, Feb. 24 -- Miss Anna Charleson, 73, died at the T. A. Sorem home southeast of Roland, late Monday.There will be brief services at the Sorem home Thursday at 12:30 after which the body will be taken to the Brandjord church, near Randall, where the funeral will be held at 2:00 o'clock, with Rev. Holen of Randall in charge. Interment will be in the Brandjord cemetery.*
Miss Charleson had came to the Sorem home as a visitor in November and it was in December that she was taken ill.
She was a native of Norway, Europe, coming to America when a woman 39 years of age. She had lived with relatives in and near Randall for 27 years and she had live at Jewell for the past six years.
She leaves two brothers and one sister. The brothers are Charles who lives in Norway and Henry of Carter, Mont. The latter had been here for two weeks, called by her illness. The sister is Mrs. Abel Hanson of Hershers, Illinois.
SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Anna Katrina Charlson is buried in the Mamrelund Cemetery in Hamilton County, Iowa. According to her death record, her parents are listed as Carl Haldor and Brula Stensdett. The informant is Haldor Charlson of Carter, Montana which must be her brother, Henry Charlson, listed in the obituary.
