FORMER STORY COUNTY MAN KILLED

WILL SCOTT VICTIM OF GRADE CROSSING ACCIDENT IN COLORADO

Will Scott, 40, former Story county man, together with a companion, was instantly killed when a truck he was driving, was struck by a train on a railroad crossing at Cheyenne Wells, Colorado, at sundown, Friday night, according to a delayed message reaching here Sunday morning.

His sisters, Mrs. Jesse Christy and husband, Mrs. A. K. Applegate and Mrs. Telene Thorson of Cambridge and Mrs. George Brown of Mitchellville, and his brothers Donald and Charles Scott of Des Moines, left here today to attend the funeral, which is to be held at Cheyenne Wells, Wednesday afternoon.

The mother, Mrs. Carrie Scott whose home is in Des Moines, but who has been spending the winter with a sister in California, will also attend the funeral.

Another sister, Mrs. Wagner Rozen of Fort Dodge, will not be able to attend the funeral.

Besides these he leaves his wife and two small children.
