The following from Monday nights Times-Republican tell of the death of Mrs. Jonas Roe, well-known to all our people. The Jondall people went down yesterday morning to attend the funeral.
"Mrs. Jonas Roe died Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at here home, No. 206 South Center street after an illness of ten days with inflamation of the stomach. Mrs. Roe was 42 years of age and was a native of Norway. She had been a resident of Marshalltown for about sixteen years. One daughter, Mrs. Ralph Morgali, resides in the city. She is also survived by here father, H. Jondall, who resides at Roland, and five brothers and sisters also residents of Roland. Her husband died about one year ago.
"Brief funeral services will be conducted at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 12:30, and services at the Norwegian church will be held at 1:30, in charge of Rev. O. E. Bordahl. Interment will be in Riveride."
