Urbandale - Margie Louise (Quade) Robertson, born March 11, 1923, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2018. She was proceeded in death by her husband Walter Richard Robertson (Boston, Ma.), her parents Earl and Beulah Quade and her great grandson, Joseph Riley Gibbs.

Following graduation from Ames High School, she was employed in a position she loved for Dr. Armstrong as an assistant and receptionist. Marge met her husband Walter while he was taking a naval training course at Iowa State University. They had a whirlwind courtship with promises to meet as soon as the war ended. They were married in New Hampshire, honeymooned in Niagara Falls and were married for 60 years until Walter's death.

Margie is survived by her children; Charles (Mary) Robertson, Linda Gibbs (Tim Sharpe), Bill (Jan) Robertson, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grand children.

A private family burial will be held at the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
