Kevin Clyde Robinson, 55 of Nevada formerly of Jackson, Mississippi, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.

Kevin was born May 26, 1962, in Chicago, IL the son of Howard and Elma (Ifill) Robinson. He graduated from Farragut High School in Chicago, IL in 1980 and had been working as an electrician. Kevin enjoyed music, joking around and making people smile. Above all, he loved time spent with family.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Monique Robinson of Ames; his granddaughter, Amari Herron of Ames; his brother, Kurt (Denise) Robinson of New York; his sisters: Terry Williams and Liza Alexandra of New York; and his close friend, Robert Newton of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Michael Robinson; and his sister, Kathy Robinson.

Memorial visitation will be 1- 2 p.m. Friday, March 30 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Kevin.
