DEATH OF MR. FULLER
Aged Gentleman Died at Home of His Son.
Special to the Journal:
Story City, July 1 -- Frederick Fuller aged 78 years, 7 months and 24 days died at the home of his son Freeman A. Fuller, Saturday, June 22, 1912 at five o'clock. He was born in Ohio where he spent his boyhood days working on the canal driving the canal boat. He moved to Iowa in 1860 while Iowa was still a new country. He loved to travel and loved the beautiful flowers and all of nature's wonderful works. He spent some years in Missouri, Colorado and California and the last five years of his life he spent in Story City where he made many friends who will miss him. His wife and three children have preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn their loss three sons and their families, namely Freeman A. of Story City, Geo. E. of Decature, Neb., and Ernest of DelNorte, Colo.; also a sister, Mrs. Alta Halstad of Millville, Calif. The funeral was held in the Evangelical church Monday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Story City cemetery.
