Mylinda Dawn Donald
July 13, 1957 - November 27, 2017Mylinda “Minnie” Donald, 60 of Promise City, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at her home.
Mylinda was born July 13, 1957, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Glen LeRoy and Vada Maude (Hull) Clark. She graduated from Collins High School in 1976 and was united in marriage to Christopher Jay Donald at the Collins Christian Church on September 27, 1980. Mylinda enjoyed sewing, quilting, stock car races and attending Civil War reenactments. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially with her grandchildren.
Mylinda is survived by her husband, Chris of Promise City, Iowa; her daughter, Paula Draper and fiancé James Lowenberg of Plano, Iowa; five grandchildren: Jace Draper, Jaron Draper, Jesalyn Draper, Jance Draper and Jaxen Donald; her brother, Grant Clark of Davenport; and her sisters: Glenda Johnson of Corydon, Iowa and Carmen Boten of Collins, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: David Ken Clark and Ricky Jay Clark.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday, November 30 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada, with cremation to follow. Family will greet friends two hours prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mylinda Donald Memorial Fund.
