Xavier Jordan Shepley, 21 of Ames, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Xavier was born in Des Moines on June 12, 1996 and graduated from Ballard-Huxley High School in 2014. He enjoyed playing Xbox and basketball.

Xavier is survived by his mom, Genny Shepley of Huxley; his step-dad, Aaron Teig of Huxley; his brothers: Jay Hutchinson of Huxley and Zachary Teig of Huxley; his maternal grandparents, Gary and Judy Shepley of Cambridge along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 25, at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. at the Cambridge Cemetery in Cambridge.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Xavier.

Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling arrangements.
