OBITUARY

BERTHA DIAL

Miss Bertha Dial daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Dial died at their home northwest of Nevada Thursday morning of tuberculosis of the bowels. She was twenty two years of age. Born in Illinois, she came with her parents, first to Boone and later to Nevada.

The funeral took place this afternoon at the Christian Church, Rev. Ruppert having charge of the service. The pall bearers were her friends Mildred Airy, Nellie Ruppert, Myrtle Cook, Bertha Smith, Mildred Stone and Anna Sketoe. The interment was in the Nevada cemetery.

Friends from abroad who have come to attend the funeral are Mr. and Mrs. Rich and son of Clarksburg, Ill., Mrs. J. J. Sketoe of St. Charles and also a brother of Mrs. Dial.
