Around the County

A young man by name of Fred Ringgenberg of Alleman met death by drowning in the Des Moines river last Sunday July 6 near Polk City. The river was dynamited and dragged and men worked all night trying to locate his body which was found on Monday afternoon. He leaves a wife and one son.
