Mrs. Harriet Shackelton died at Ames March 18 aged 77 yrs. her funeral was held there on the 19th and her burial was at Boone. Her husband, Robert Shackelton, passed on in 1905. Mrs. Shackelton came from Ohio to Boone in 184 and later removed to Ames.
