CAMBRIDGE BOY KILLED TUESDAY

Roy Reinertson Crushed Under Wagon Wheels.

Roy Reinertson, the fourteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Reinert Reinertson, living northwest of Cambridge met a tragic death Tuesday.

The boy was woking for his brother, Charles, who lives on a farm north of Huxley. Tuesday he was hauling corn in the Farmer's Elevator at Des Moines Junction and had gone only a short distance when the front end gate in the lumber wagon which he was driving fell out carrying the boy with it. The team kept on going and the wagon which was heavily loaded passed over the boy, the wheels striking the lower abdomen. He was able to call for help and he was hurried to the home of his brother where physicians from Ames and Des Moines were summoned. An operation was performed but was of no avail and he died at nine-thirty in the evening. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon.
