Death at Maxwell.

Mrs. John Brodie, an aged and highly respected resident of Maxwell, passed away August 12, after a residence in that vicinity dating from 1879. Her age was 95 years and 7 months. She came with her husband and seven children from Scotland and after a few years in Illinois came to Story county as stated. Mr. Brodie died in 1897. One of her daughters, Mrs. Dr. Joor, passed away in 1904. Of her eleven children, six survive her, John, William, Annie and and Mrs. Mary White living in Maxwell.
