OBITUARY

Death of E. A. Post

Mr. E. A. Post of this city died Friday afternoon at the state hospital at Clarinda, where she had been under treatment for some time. He had long been in declining health, and his final illness and death afforded no surprise. His body was brought home and the funeral was conducted from the family residence Monday afternoon.

Mr. Post was a retired farmer, 61 years of age and father of a large family. He was reared and married in Illinois and spent several years in South Dakota. For the past twenty years, however, he had lived in Story county and for past three or four years in town. He was a man of worth and thrift, and he is most sincerely mourned.
