Mark Albert Rohlfing, 63 of Nevada, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at his home near Nevada.
Mark was born May 31, 1954, in Washington, MO, the son of Lloyd Albert and Ruth Sophie (Jaeger) Rohlfing. He graduated from Owensville High School in 1972 and the University of Missouri in 1976. On June 7, 1980, Mark was united in marriage to Laurie Helen Jones in Independence, Iowa. Mark worked for National Farmers Organization and owned T&M Wood. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, golf and woodworking.
Mark is survived by his wife, Laurie of Nevada; his son, Tom Rohlfing of Davenport; his daughter, Kimberly Rohlfing of Johnston; his mother, Ruth Rohlfing of Bland, MO; and his sister, Shirley (Myron) Coleman of St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 1 at Rasmusson-Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 2 at Central Presbyterian Church in Nevada with Pastor Ian McMullen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery outside Nevada.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mark Rohlfing Memorial Fund.
