CHARLES FURNAS DEAD.

Brother of Mrs. Sarah Dillin Victim of Paralysis.

Charles Furnas, age 85 years, the last of the four brothers of Mrs. Sarah Dillin of this city, died at his home in Letts, Iowa on November 20, following a stroke of paralysis which he suffered on November 9. This was the first time that Mr. Furnas had ever been ill and he failed very rapidly from the time that he was stricken. The funeral services were held at Letts on November 21, according to word received by the sister in this city, who was ill at the time and unable to attend the funeral. Charles Furnas was the last of four brothers to pass away, all of them living to ripe old ages. The first to die and Elwood Furnas, Richland township pioneer, who was well known in Nevada and died a number of years ago, his widow was living on Court avenue of this city.
