THE DREHER FUNERAL

Interment Thursday Afternoon in the Nevada Cemetery.

Rev. J. D. Letten, former pastor of Central Presbyterian church who had been asked to come down from his present home at Lake City, to assist in the funeral service of the late Mrs. Charles E. Dreher, was unable to come owing to the health conditions and Rev. J. W. Innes was over from Ames and took his place.

Rev. Innes who is now at the head of the Collegiate Presbyterian church at Iowa State college is also a former pastor of Central Presbyterian church. He was assisted in the service at the house and at the grave by Rev. Fred Ross Shirck of Memorial Lutheran church.

The service at the house was strictly private, only members of the family and a few very near friends being present while those at the grave were attended by a large concourse of friends. At the grave Rev. Innes read the scripture and Rev. Shirck offered prayer. The floral offerings were many and very beautiful reflecting the very high esteem in which the deceased was held by the people of the community.
