CALLED BY FATHER'S DEATH
Mr. and Mrs. Withrow Back from Illinois.
Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Withrow* have returned home from Geneseo, Ill., where they were called by the very serious illness and subsequent death of Mr. Withrow's father, John W. Withrow, age 83 years and a pioneer of that community.
The senior Mr. Withrow was a native of Illinois, being born in Henry county of that state and he made his home in Illinois during his over four score years of life. His is survived by his wife, six of their nine children and a number of grandchildren.
He was a veteran of the Civil War having served in Company K of the 112th Illinois volunteer infantry for 4 years. He was a man of high character and was much honored and respected in the community where he lived for over eighty years and where he was known to practically every man and woman in the county.
*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: "F. O. Withrow" was Francis Owen Withrow, son of the deceased.
