Mrs. Mary A. Whalen, wife of W. H. Whalen, superintendent of the Iowa division of the Northwestern, died at their home in Boone Thursday, after an illness of three years. Her funeral will be conducted Saturday by Rev. Father Saunders of Boone, Ranier of Ames and Fitchpatrick of Marshalltown, and burial will be in Michigan.
