Word has been received in the south part of the county of the death of a few weeks ago in Ireland of Oliver Cooper, a former well-known citizen of that part of the county, but for the past few years a resident of Orange, California. Mr. Cooper was here for some time about a year ago visiting among old friends; and recently he left this country for a visit to his childhood home in Ireland. The occasion of his death while visiting there is not stated. He was a man much esteemed, and the news of his death will occasion much regret.
